The beauty of camel competition in the desert of the UAE - PKNNTV

The moment that camel breeders have been waiting for has arrived in the desert of the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Associated Press, people brought their camels and poured Arabic coffee into cups and the judges arrived.
However, the only question on the grand stand was which camel is the most beautiful?

At a time when the omi kroon is spreading around the world, camel herders from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are heading to the southwestern United Arab Emirates this week with their 40,000 beautiful camels for the Al-Zafra Festival. Traveled the desert.
The five-member jury in the annual competition insists that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder. The aesthetics of the camel are judged according to the rules laid down by the generations.
Officials of the festival said that only female camels participate in this festival as males fight a lot.

One of the organizers, Muhammad al-Muhri, outlined an ideal camel.
He told the Associated Press on Wednesday that (camel's) necks should be long and thin, cheeks wide and hooves large.
Lips should fall. They should walk with dignity. "
"It's not so different from humans," said Muhammad al-Muhri.
High standards have encouraged many camel breeders to benefit. They use Botox injections to inflate camel's lips, muscle relaxants to soften the face, and silicone wax injections to spread the elbows.
Festival spokesman Abdul Hadi Saleh declined to say how many participants had been disqualified for plastic surgery this week.
Before entering the Al-Zafra Festival, all camels have to undergo rigorous medical examinations to detect artificial touch-ups and hormones.
According to Abdul Hadi Saleh, the number of fraudsters has decreased since the UAE investigators started using X-ray and sonar systems a few years ago.
"We catch them easily, and they feel they have been caught, it's not worth their reputation," he said.
A big deal is at stake. Prizes ranging from  1,300 to 13,600 are presented to the top 10 winners in each category at the Al-Zafra Festival. In comparison, the beautiful camel in Saudi Arabia earns  66 million.
But camel breeders insist it's not just about money.
Saleh al-Manhali, a 27-year-old owner of a camel and a resident of Abu Dhabi, said:
