Facebook hides 'Resign Modi' posts, commotion among users

 












Facebook has hidden 12,000 posts demanding the resignation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after which social media users have protested and expressed anger over Facebook's ban.

According to Arab News, posts are being made in India under the hashtag 'Resign Modi' for not controlling the Corona epidemic properly, but such posts with which Facebook has disappeared Seemed

Users are sharing screenshots of this message on Twitter.

A Facebook spokesman said: "We did not remove the hashtag at the behest of the Indian government but by mistake. We have restored it."

Earlier, microblogging site Twitter also removed more than 50 tweets criticizing the Indian government for not controlling the epidemic properly.
